7/1/2023 SIS Release Notes

FY 2023-2024 Updates:

• Created the new income ceilings and income ranking chart for CDSS Programs based on the 2023-2024 ranking chart provided by CDSS in CCB NO. 23-16
  • There will now be two separate State Rank columns on the Applications and Waitlist grid labeled CDE Rank and CDSS Rank - California State Preschool Programs (CSPP) should use the CDE Rank column that will rank families by the 22-23 ranking chart until the CDE Management Bulletin is released, while General Child Care and Development (CCTR) and Migrant Child Care and Development (CMIG) programs should use the CDSS Rank column that will rank families by the new 23-24 ranking chart
    

Fiscal Enhancements:

• Updated the weekly schedule fee model to ensure a week is never double billed for a family when it overlaps two different months

Parent Survey Enhancements:

• Added an "In Progress" status to the 'Parent Survey Statuses' tab which will flag any parent who has answered at least one question in order to help staff track the parents that have started their survey
• Added Region, County, and School District Boundary filters to the 'Parent Survey Results' tab so that staff can isolate survey data by these three filters 

Fixes & Adjustments:

• Updated the performance of the Dental record within the Student Menu > Health > Dental record to optimize user experience
• Updated the monthly attendance sign-in sheets to ensure that parents are only prompted to sign attendance sheets for students scheduled for the current month in their family
• Updated the "Send Reminder Email" feature on the All Staff grid to allow users to include a login link, username, and password (for new accounts) in the email - the system will always automatically create a staff account for any staff member being emailed who does not already have a staff account and will include the login information for that staff member
