General Announcement - Annual Updates
We have received several questions about the 2024-25 CDE & CDSS Income Ranking Tables, Income Guidelines, and Family Fee Schedules. We are currently working on the 2024-25 CDSS Family Fee Schedule and will release the new fee schedule, with a report for users to identify families with reduced fees, on Monday, 6/24/2024. Once CDE releases its new fee schedule, we will pivot to that work. The new income ranking tables and income guidelines, for both CDE and CDSS, will be released to the Hubbe system on July 1, 2024.
We will send an additional announcement on Monday once the new 2024-25 CDSS family fee schedule is released. Thank you for your patience as we work on these annual updates!
Note: For agencies who use Meal Counts and DRDP - we will release the 2024-25 CACFP income guidelines on July 1, 2024, and will create the new DRDP rating periods for 2024-25 once they are posted to the DRDP Online website.
CAPSDAC Updates
- Updated the CAPSDAC report with the following logic changes:
- Updated the "Sites" and "Sessions" filters to only show sites and sessions within the agency
- Updated the Staff "Ethnicity" and "Race" columns to show Green if data is missing
- If staff have a "Local Assignment Waiver", they would not have a SEID from the CTC. If the "WaiverYN" column shows a "Y" value, and the SEID is blank, the SEID cell will now have a Green background
- Site Supervisors are now excluded from the staff data report
- Updated the "State of Birth" column to show Green if data is missing on any country that doesn't have state options. The only countries that should show Red in the State of Birth column are the following (check if any other country options have correlating state options):
- United States
- Mexico
- Canada
- Updated the "Ethnicity" and "Race" columns to show Green if data is missing (this field is marked as optional in the CAPSDAC user manual)
- Updated the "IsDualLanguageLearnerYN" column so that the cell isn't colored green if the designation is "N" - the only coloring for cells in this column should be Red if the data is missing
- Added the ability to update the "HeadOfHouseholdEducation1" column from the report grid
- Added the ability to update the Home Address data from the report grid
- Updated the "FullTimeEnrollment" and "PartTimeEnrollments" columns so that the cells are only colored red if neither column has a session ID populated
Student Health History Enhancements
- Added fields from the “Child’s Preadmission Health History” form to the student record under Health > Health History - now, when you create and send the Health History form to parents, their answers will populate these fields on the student record to continually track and refer back to this data when needed
Family Services Role Updates
- Updated the Landing Pages and permissions for the Family Caseworker and Family Services Supervisor roles to ensure that each has access to the Family Service Activities and can access agency-level features like Parent Engagement, Health, Referrals, etc. for only their caseload of families
Fixes and Adjustments
- Added an “Other Children” column to invite families to the reapply grid - this column will now be listed after the "Students" column
- Fixed an issue with meal counts showing an error if staff entered that meals were served outside of the meal times offered
- Fixed an issue with meal counts where the sign-in or sign-out times wouldn't display in the meal counts modal if the time was the same as the time the meal was offered
