Family Language Instrument Update
- In compliance with the newly released guidance for the Family Language Instrument, we have made the instrument optional in both the Family Application and regular Parent Portal. Parents will now be presented with the following question prior to being presented the instrument survey, if they consent to the survey: "Would you like to complete the Family Language Instrument for your child?"
Reporting Enhancements
- Updated the following columns in the 801A report to allow spaces and hyphens: Head of Household Last Name, Head of Household First Name, Child Last Name, Child First Name
- Updated the logic used for the "Family Size" column in the 801A report, following the update released in the family record that allows users to select whether to include a child or parent in the family size. Now, the "Family Size" column will always show the family size value from the household record, since users can now control this value, such as for foster families where parents should not be counted
- Updated the "DateOfEnrollmentEnd" column in the CAPSDAC to only show dates within the report period in response to user errors regarding this situation
- Fixed the "Services Dates" and "Child Start Date" columns in the 801A report to ensure the correct date is always showing
- Created a new filter on the 801A Report grid titled "CDE/CDSS" that allows users to filter for only CDE students or only CDSS students, according to the funding contract assigned to the student's schedule
- Added validation to the "Reason for Receiving Service" field on the 801A Report that ensures users cannot select an invalid reason for CDSS students (Q, R, S, or U)
Student & Parent Health Enhancements
- Updated the Student Dental Home to become the Dental Home History that will allow staff to add all dental history for the student while enrolled in your program
