NEW CDE-EED CDMIS 801A/B Report Updates

In our commitment to stay up to date with all state changes, we have been working hard to implement all changes to the CDE 801A/B Report for the July 2025 reporting period. In this release, your Hubbe system will have access to the previous and new versions of the CDE's 801A/B Reports. The previous version can still be used to submit your June 2025 report. Then, once you're ready to submit your July 2025 reports, you can easily transition to using the new version of the CDE 801A/B Report. Please note that many of the cells are editable from the grid, so be sure to click on the grid cells if data needs to be revised for a family and make your changes as you review your report data.

We have also updated our resources for the CDSS and CDE 801A/B Reports, linked below. We hope you enjoy the new version of the CDE-EED CDMIS 801A report in Hubbe!

Family Language Instrument Survey & Interest Interview Updates

CDSS recently released CCB 25-13, which now requires center-based CCTR and CMIG programs to begin collecting Dual Language Learner data on children.

To support this new requirement, the Hubbe system has implemented the following updates to allow CCTR and CMIG programs to complete the Family Language Instrument (FLI), to designate the child as a Dual Language Learner, and the Family Language and Interest Interview (FL&II):

  • Updated the Family Language Instrument Survey (initial 4 questions) to match the updated wording for the FLI released by CDSS, with additional sub-text and one additional sub-question for #3 that allows users to enter free-response text.
  • Updated the Family Language and Interest Interview to match the updated wording for two questions.
  • Updated the alert that parents receive in the Parent Portal to complete the initial Family Language Instrument Survey so that parents with children who are enrolled in CCTR and CMIG programs will also be prompted with the question of whether they would like to complete the survey for their child (please note, parents are not required to complete this survey).
  • Updated the Family Language & Interest Interview grid at all levels (agency, site, and session) to automatically filter for all children with CCTR and CMIG subsidy types, in addition to the CSPP filter that appeared before this update.
  • Note to Users - When setting up a Program's Family Application for a CCTR or CMIG program, we recommend you set the field "Include Family Language Survey Questions" to "Yes" in the "Show/Hide Fields" tab so that parents applying to that program will be presented with the Instrument Survey in the application portal.
