New CLASS Score Charts

  • We are excited to announce the release of new CLASS Score Charts in support of your quality improvement work.  These charts are surfaced at the agency, site and individual session levels, where scores can be compared to national averages (as used by the Office of Head Start) as well as how the scores stack up against the new CA CSPP Rating Matrix benchmarks.  You will be able to view a chart of CLASS score averages for PreK 2.0 and Pre-K 2008 assessment types.

CLASS Assessment Enhancements

  • Fixed a calculation display issue for CLASS assessment scoring on the view page and download - note the CLASS score was correct, but the view page and download displayed incorrect calculations to arrive at the correct score
  • When creating a schedule on the ERS/CLASS Management grid within an assessment team, we have added the following CLASS options: CLASS Pre-K 2.0, CLASS Environment
  • Fixed an issue when case loading more than one CLASS assessment to a single session in which data was cleared, but now all selected CLASS assessments will be preserved
  • Updated the CLASS Pre-K 2.0 assessment type to include two content areas: Social & Emotional, and None
  • Added a new "Content Ratings" table to the CLASS Pre-K 2.0 assessment type that will list out the "Time" (None, Some, Most), "Number of Children" (Few, Some, Many), and "Level of Engagement" (Disengaged, Mixed, Active) for each cycle within the applicable content row (i.e., Math, Science, etc.)

CDF Enhancements

  • Added validation on the CDF Data Management grid for when CSPP, CCTR, CMIG are selected as funding types,  so that the State Vendor Number is required, which will appear as a red cell until entered for those funding types
  • Updated the CCL License validation logic in the CDF Wizard to ensure staff are able to complete their CDF report without a CCL License if the site has been marked as "License Exempt" on the site record
  • Updated the CDF Wizard for FFN and Alternative site types to ensure they only can view and edit data that is applicable to their site, including some site information and student counts. We also updated the CDF Report download that is available after completing the CDF Wizard to ensure it only displays the information that was available on the site's wizard
  • Updated the validation for the Dual Language Learner counts in a site's CDF Wizard to ensure it is (A) less than or equal to the number of preschools served at that site, and (B) equal to the number of preschoolers who speak a language other than English
  • A new email notification will sent to all QR Code users for a Site CDF Wizard upon submission of the site's data, including a PDF report of the site's CDF data as it was submitted
  • Updated the CDF Wizard and CDF Data Management grid for FFN and Alternative sites to not require or show the "Street Address" portion of the address fields
  • Updated the automatic count logic for the "Demographic Counts" in a site's CDF Wizard to ensure that a child is only ever counted once, and will be counted as Hispanic if Hispanic and White are both chosen on the student's record
  • Added all users with the "CDF Wizard" role as options for assigning to a Wizard when adding QR Code users for a site's wizard
  • For sites marked as "QI Only," we have updated the CDF Data Management grid to make all cells related to Rating and CLASS assessments greyed out/not-required

QIP Enhancements

  • Added a new setting option to the "Customize QIP Fields" area to allow users to show or hide the "Grant Funds Invested" filed in each action step within a QIP record
  • Added a new column cluster option on the All QIPs grid at every level titled "QIP Action Steps" - this will allow users to select & show as many action steps fields for as many action steps as they would like on the grid, such as "Action Step 1 Title" and "Action Step 1 Description."
  • Added a new "Target Date of Completion" field to the QIP record within each action step, which will allow users to enter target completion dates and track how many days past due an action step may be. This new field will be a column option on the All QIPs grid at every level and will be in the QIP download.
  • Added a new "Days Past Due" field to the QIP record within each action step, which will allow users to track how many days past due an action step may be based on the "Target Completion Date" and "Date Completed" values selected on the action step. Please note that the action step will only display this value when both of those dates are entered and before the action step has been marked as "Completed." This new field will be a column option on the All QIPs grid at every level and will be in the QIP download.

Coaching Enhancements

  • Added two new fields to the Customize Coach Log record to allow users to set "Optional, Mandatory, or Hidden" for the "Topics" and "Topic: Percent of Time Spent" fields
  • When an agency, site, or session is inactivated, any coach who is caseloaded that entity will have it be automatically removed from their caseload so they are not creating coaching activities for inactive entities

Staff Professional Development & Education Enhancements

  • Updated both the Staff Professional Development and Staff Education roll-up grids to always show the staff's associated agency, even if they have no roles assigned to their account
  • Added a new filter to the "Workshops" tab of the Staff Professional Development titled "Workshop Name" which will display the customized workshop names for your system
  • Added a new filter titled "Site QRIS Program Type" to all tabs on the Staff Professional Development and Staff Education roll-up grids to allow users to filter for staff assigned to sites/sessions with the selected QRIS program type(s)

Stipend Enhancements

  • When a staff's stipend application is accepted, we have updated the status change that follows this to mark the staff participant as "Accepted" in the stipend program

Agency Application Enhancements

  • Updated the validation for inviting new applicants to apply to your system to ensure duplicate accounts using the same email address are not created. If applicants already have an account, users can re-open their previous application for them to update and submit

Fixes & Adjustments

  • Updated the WFR automatic sync within Hubbe to include two new fields from the CA WFR Expanded Data Set, including: Evening Phone Number which will map to the "Home Phone Number" field in Hubbe, and Cell Phone Number which will map to the "Cell Phone Number" field in Hubbe
  • Fixed the "Site Intake and Custom Field Report" exported file to ensure the columns are aligned with their corresponding data
