TABLE OF CONTENTS

NEW Survey Manager Role

  • We have created a new role titled Survey Manager, available as a County level role. A staff account assigned the Survey Manager role will have full access to the Staff Survey features, including creating, editing, or deleting a survey, as well as inviting staff to participate, viewing responses, or even managing a staff's account to support login of participants.

NEW CA QCC Topics and QCC Quarterly Coaching Report

  • CA QCC Topics in the Coach Log
    • Added a new field to the Coach Log within the Topics card titled "CA QCC Topics." This new field will be a multi-select field with the following options to select for the Coach Log. Any selection will appear as a badge on the Coach Log view and download, as well as the Coach Log grids as a new column.
      • Teacher-child interactions and creating quality learning environments
      • Anti-Bias Practices
      • Anti-Racist Practices
      • Supporting multilingual learners in English and their home language (including supports for families)
      • Supporting children’s development across all domains in the Preschool Learning Foundations, with a particular focus on early math, literacy and social-emotional skills
      • Implementation of evidence-based curricula and use of assessment, such as the DRDP, to inform instruction
      • Other
    • We have also added the new QCC Topics field in the Customize Coach Log area, allowing users to set this new field to Optional, Mandatory, or Hidden from the Coach Log.

  • QCC Quarterly Coaching Report
    • We are excited to announce our new QCC Quarterly Coaching Report, available in the Coaching sub-menu. This report will generate a count of each county's coaching activities by QCC Topic and Site Rating Tier for the selected Quarter. For example, users can now generate a QCC Quarterly Report for Quarter 1 2024 -2025 (July - September) to view the counts of coaching activities by QCC Topic for each county during that time period. The report can also be exported as a PDF. We hope this new report serves your county well!  Shout out to Fresno and Los Angeles Counties for asking Hubbe to automate this new state report!

CDF Enhancements

  • Updated the automatic counting logic for the "Demographic Counts" card in the CDF Wizard and site-level "QRIS/CDF" tab, so that all students are included (and only once) in the counts and in the correct category. For example, student with an Ethnicity of "Hispanic or Latino" and a Race of "White" will be reported in the "Number of Children Who are Hispanic or Latino" category in the CDF Wizard.
  • Updated the automated CDF Student Counts for a site to ensure the "Dual Language Learners" count is looking to the "Dual Language Learner" field on a student record, rather than the "English Language Learner" field to determine DLL status. If a student is marked as "Yes" for "Dual Language Learner" on their student record, and the site is set to automatically calculate CDF Student Counts, then that student will be included in the "Dual Language Learner" count.
  • Updated the CDF Data Management grid to ensure the correct and applicable Site Rating data is pulled into the grid for the report year.
  • Updated the "QRIS Site Programs" column on the CDF Data Management grid so that users can now edit the cell for any site right from the grid and modify the site's selected participating programs.

Preschool CDS Codes

  • We have added the full database of Preschool CDS Codes into Hubbe, so now users can select a Preschool Agency and Preschool Site for each site within the "Boundaries" area of a site record, and the selection made will automatically assign the associated Preschool CDS Code. Users can also select to "Manually Enter Preschool CDS Code" if the Preschool Agency/Site is not found in the list provided. Please note that we have more updates coming soon that will feed the Preschool CDS Code into applicable reports such as the CAPSDAC.

General Enhancements

  • Added a new column option titled "Street Address" to the Main Column Cluster on the All Sites grid that users can select to show on the grid. This column will display "Site Address Line 1" and/or "Site Address Line 2" from the site's address information, and will be hidden by default from the grid.

  • To the Staff Survey, we have added a "Reset password" option within the "Send Reminder Email" modal found in the "Staff Survey Statuses" tab. This option allows staff to send reminder emails to staff participants to complete the survey, and will now allow the user to include a temporary password in the reminder email, along with a link to the survey and their account username for logging in easily (the link and username will always be included in the email).

  • Added a new column to the All Sessions grid at the County, Agency, and Site levels, titled "CAPSDAC ID" - this column will display the session's CAPSDAC ID, as the name infers. This column will be hidden from the grid by default, so please make sure to select this column in the "Columns" selection tool above the grid.

Fixes & Adjustments

  • Updated role permissions for CLASS Assessments to ensure that a staff assigned the role of Assessor is able to create a Certified CLASS Assessment.
  • Fixed an issue with the Professional Development import/export to ensure that all PD record are successfully imported with the "Status" designated in the import file. If any events do not have a "Type" filled in, then the record will be created as a Workshop event.
  • Updated the CDF Wizard to ensure that wizards are able to edit and save Site Information despite an invalid email address added to the Site record. This update came from reports of users who were blocked from saving the Site Information in the CDF Wizard when the site's email address was invalid.
